Paul is an accomplished executive with over 16 years of investment banking, management consulting and venture capital experience. Paul is responsible for mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy, and he leads the Starweaver team on all engagements.

Prior to forming Starweaver, Paul launched, and for three years managed MediVault, Inc., an ASP in the clinical informatics and self-service human resources sector. He raised the initial round of angel capital, served as the company's President, managed a staff of 15 and grew the company to breakeven within two years. From 1991 through 1995, Paul was a partner in International Development Partners, Ltd., an international private equity investment firm that managed high net worth individual investments and provided investment and banking services.

Paul serves on the board of the MIT Enterprise Forum of New York City and several private companies including AtBalance and PeopleBusinessNetwork. Paul was a founding member of the International Policy Roundtable and is active in handgun control as a director of the Brady Leadership Council.

Paul has been active in numerous industry associations including the Information Industry Association, American Medical Informatics Association, New York New Media Association, the Wharton Club of New York City and the Association for Corporate Growth. For several years, Paul chaired the Information Industry Association's annual venture capital conference. He has spoken widely at industry technology conferences

Paul received his M.B.A. from the Stern School of Management at New York University and his B.A. with high honors from the University of Pennsylvania, where he participated in the Ben Franklin Scholar Program and the mathematics honors society.
